The LETTERMAN XXL mailbox can be positioned as needed with the help of a post. The column is made of stainless steel. For example, it can be attached to a wooden surface with 4 screws, but there is also the option of fixing it with a ground anchor (it should have been embedded in concrete). The screw connections are covered by the supplied cover plate.
