product description iCLIP IPE decking boards
The exotic IPE tree comes from Central and South America. IPE wood belongs to the highest class in terms of wood durability and its lifespan is estimated at more than 25 years. IPE is very popular for premium quality outdoor patios. The physical properties of IPE exceed any other commercially available wood. In addition to its unique hardness and density, it has almost no pest holes, dries minimally and has a beautiful wood grain. In addition, it is very resistant to attack by fungi and insects, including termites. It also exhibits extraordinary resistance to fire. From this point of view, according to American standards, it has class A-1, the same as armor steel. It has significantly lower maintenance or replacement costs. The wood is natural, deep in color from olive brown to black brown, often with lighter or darker bands. Quite often it acquires a dark red shade, which one does not encounter with other types of trees from the temperate zone.
